Download Research Insight on the Web Excel Add-in

The following instructions are for installing Standard & Poor's Research Insight on the Web.

Before you begin:

1. Review the system requirements to ensure that your computer system accommodates the demands of the Research Insight on the Web application.
2. Close all running programs, including Microsoft^® Excel.
3. Confirm your user status as either the Administrators or the Power User groups. Contact your system administrator if you are unsure if this applies.

Installing Research Insight on the Web

The following steps outline the steps and the dialog boxes where specific actions must be performed. Many dialog boxes are self-explanatory and are not included below.

1. Click here to download Research Insight on the Web
2. Choose a location to save the spriweb.exe file on your local computer.
3. Once the download is complete, locate the executable file. Double-click on the spriweb.exe file you just downloaded to begin the installation process.
   

   The InstallShield Wizard will display a Preparing the Install box, while the installation executable checks your operating system. Once the preparation is complete, the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Research Insight on the Web dialog box displays.
   

4. Click Next.
5. The InstallShield Wizard Destination Folder dialog box displays and will prompt you to choose a location to save the Research Insight on the Web files, or use the default location (c:\Program Files\Standard & Poor's\Research Insight on the Web).
   
   Click Next.
6. The InstallShield Wizard Ready to Install Program dialog box displays.
   
   Click Install to begin the installation. During the installation process, the Installing Research Insight on the Web box displays.
7. An InstallShield Wizard Complete message will appear when the install is complete.
   
   Click Finish.
